I DONT WANT TO BE THE VOICE OF A GENERATION...I JUST WANT TO BE THE VOICE FOR YOU.. |
“We both know that I’d obviously have no idea how to handle such a situation, if it ever presented itself.” Eligius spoke truthfully, but he never seemed to lose his solemn façade while his words left his mouth and flowed freely into the night’s emptiness. His words were the absolute truth and he did not dare to hide this fact from Ridley, for there was no reason to try and pretend to know something he simply did not know. However, he wondered quietly within the back of his own thoughts whether or not Ridley would know how to react if war was to truly break out between Animos Regum and Sapientia Saecolorum. She had said that she wished for nothing of the sort, but the words that trailed after that seemed to say something entirely different. “I must disagree with you on that point,” Eligius stated his voice rising slightly as his words became filled with a certain display of passion. “Those who are triumphant are the ones who have experienced the utter wrath of war, for in order for one to be triumphant over another... much must be sacrificed on their part.” He finished shortly after he had begun, and although he had retaken his solemn façade it was only partially reclaimed and his eyes still gleamed with an adamant passion for the subject. So as he waited for a response, which he was sure was coming…the gleaming furred, Eligius fixated his vivid, golden eyes upon Ridley. She was stunningly beautiful, but still she seemed so dark and dimmed even with the moon at its brightest peak. “I think a stronger light would suit you better” Eliguis spoke out though his words were meant to reside only in his own thoughts, but somehow they had escaped and were now out where she could easily pick them up. For some they might have begun to panic, but not the leader of Animos Regum, no he hardly ever took back what he said and he never played it off as a mere mistake or slip of the tongue. Though nothing he said was ever intended to offend another, but regardless of whether it did or did not…he would not apologize. Instead, he just shifted his fixation back to the moon and shut his eyes in silence. “I’m afraid the moon is taking his leave, and with his departure I must too slip away. You have my views on the subject of war, but know that if that is the only path you decide you can take..Animos Regum will be prepared to counter you on this path. I’m afraid though that no justice will be brought about by such actions.” With that said and the minutes now passing by with a sense of haste, Eligius dipped his head ever so slightly to the ashen colored female and disappeared toward the boarder that would bring him home to Animos Regum. |
